Multifaceted, Award-Winning Filipina-American Visual Artist, Sarah Gaugler is a formally trained Contemporary Artist graduating with a BFA in Fine Art mastering in Advertising. Gaugler is a Creative Director, Painter, Illustrator, Certified PMU Artist and New York Licensed Fine Line Tattoo Expert with 15 Years of Professional Tattooing; Specializing in Fine Line and Custom Designed Tattoos, and was the first female modern tattoo artist in Manila using tattoo machines, mastering the delicate and intricate skill of custom fineline techniques in 2008.
"Hello! My name is Sarah Gaugler and I own and tattoo at Snow Tattoo. I started tattooing when I was super young and have been tattooing my fine-line tattoo art permanently on skin for fifteen years. I graduated from University, at the College of Fine Arts and Design, UST, with a BFA in Fine Arts, but meeting people, making real human connections and being able to bring my delicate, yet bold work, to life in service for others is my DIVINE PASSION. I put extreme focus on making each design match my clients’ vision and stories, and quality is my priority which is why Snow Tattoo is, and always has been, a Private Studio. My clients have the security of having their tattoo made in a clean, solemn, comfortable studio, without being disrupted by walk-ins or other artists working around them.
My studio is called "Snow Tattoo" because I believe that like a snowflake, no two tattoos should be exactly alike.
This is why I customize and illustrate every tattoo design, on the spot, so that each individual can acquire their own personalized tattoo made special, with my signature line-art & dot-work, free-flowing style - just for them.
I believe in Wellness, Good Energy, and Compassion. I am dedicated to enhancing further knowledge and education in my practice from different fields of study like yoga and mediation, strengthening the deep relationship between creativity and spirituality to provide quality work for clients. All my ink is Vegan."

Sarah Gaugler graduated with honors as a Dean’s Lister at The University of Sto. Tomas Manila, with a Bachelors Degree from the College of Fine Arts. In Manila, Gaugler has won multiple of awards for her skills in Album Cover designs and Album packaging, and has worked with prominent international advertising agencies such as BBDO Guerrero, Saatchi & Saatchi, and TBWA, to name a few. As a freelance illustrator, Gaugler was commissioned to work with leading brands like Starbucks PH, Universal Records, Warner Music PH and Lee Jeans PH. Her art works have been exhibited in art galleries around the Philippines and has been featured in numerous prominent national and international publications, newspapers and fashion magazines (The New York Times, Oxygen.com, Rouge Magazine, Harpers BAZAAR, Kobini Magazine, The Philippine Star, The Ph Daily Inquirer, Preview Magazine, Mega Magazine, Cosmopolitan Ph, - to mention a few.)
Aside from tattooing and visual arts, Gaugler is also known for modeling appearances, acting for notable independent films like “Gemini” which was premiered at the MoMa Museum of Modern Arts NYC and she is also the songwriter and vocalist of the electronic rock duo, Turbo Goth.
Gaugler has been professionally tattooing her signature, unique fine line tattoos for 14 years, has owned her own private studio in Manila for two years before relocating her private studio to Tribeca, New York.
In 2019 Gaugler completed Yoga Teacher Training and Sanskrit Studies to deepen the connection of spirituality in her craft and continues to find ways to incorporate this deeper connection into her art and tattoos.
Occasionally Miss Gaugler will host Private Pop Ups and "on-the-spot" tattooing for parties, events, and highlighted gatherings.
